Birth Doula Services.
It started with a birth...
Growing up as the oldest of the family, I had always been super involved with each one of my moms and family members pregnancies. It wasn’t until baby lu came along that I realized I was meant to be in birth work. Baby lu’s birth, changed more than just our lives in the most beautiful way possible but has birthed a passion that has been brewing inside all along.
Doula
What is a doula?
A doula is a professional trained in childbirth, who provides emotional, physical, and educational support to the birthing parent and their partner.
My goals as your doula:
create a safe-space for you to express any concerns, fears, or questions when it comes to your pregnancy and birth
provide evidence-based information so you as the birthing person can make informed decisions
to help open the door when it comes to addressing topics with your health care provider, so the birthing person is able to cover all bases when creating a birth plan
Assist in helping prepare you for YOUR best birth, whether that be medicated or unmedicated… vaginal or cesarean on all fours in your home or in a hospital bed… whatever your own individual best birth looks like, I’m excited to be apart of this beautiful journey with you.
